Literature Text

Dream on, child!
~complete duration: 2:37
~lyrics lined up with the song "Fading Light" by Immediate Music
~lyrics start at the same time with the piano

1.) Alone... alone in emptiness
You call... call out in fear.
No one hears your prayer.
Oh, no. You're by your own.

2.) Then you curl and cry.
You see... see no more light.
Nothing. Nothing but tears
Trickling down your face.

3.) (And) there's no one to wipe 'em,
There's no love to heal 'em.
Darkness lurks near.
Shadows now appear.

4.) And the stars of night -
Out of your sight -
Shout that you're in need,
(Though) people know but greed.

5.) I see what it feels like
But don't give into it -
(Love him, my princess)
Despair cannot rule you.
Clean your painful face!
(Dream of him, my princess)

6.) Your heart pounds till it breaks.
Your feelings are no fakes.
(Dream of him now and then)
Yes, you're suffering.
Yes, you are loving.
(He is now part of you)

7.) Loving you are.
He is... He is your star
But you can't reach him...
Dream on, child. Dream on!

NOTES:
NOW THEN, this is another extremely-hard-to-sing thing that I've written. Why do I make them so tough, anyway??? ^^; Guess we'll never know that.
Ahem! (*cough cough*) The lines you see in brackets must be sung at the same time with the two lines above 'em. See, if a 1st voice sings QUICKLY the two lines above, a 2nd voice must sing SLOWLY the words in brackets. This goes the same for the last two lines! Just make sure you listen to the song and you'll see that the piano there is rather fast, while the strings are gentle. So you definitely need 2 voices for this song! But don't freak out. I know it's kinda too much information I write here, though it's easier than it looks! :D
Once again, a lovely song composed by Immediate Music has been heard by my greedy ears! :iconhurrplz:
And you all know what that means, right? ;-)
This poem was inspired by my... inexplicable desire to be loved by a boy such as Nokuto??? Perhaps ^^; That would explain the last line "Dream on, child. Dream on!"

Once again, very nice work! I really liked the repetition of some of the words, it definitely added a certain effect. :D
:huggle: Very lovely!
